Last Thursday, Bodega Sierra Almagrera received the Levante Award from La Voz de Almería in the Economy category for its work contributing significantly to the economic development of the area.

Bodega Sierra Almagrera is located in the east of the province of Almeria, in the foothills of the Sierra de Almagrera, in the valley of Cuevas del Almanzora and located above the sea is the Bodega Sierra Almagrera.

Its vineyards are located on the same land where the first vines brought by the Phoenicians to the Iberian Peninsula took root more than 3,000 years ago.

This unique project was initiated more than 15 years ago by Agroecopark and its founder, Jose Miguel Garcia, who is recently expanding its facilities to achieve a 5-fold increase in production, and thus contribute significantly to the economic development of the area, and the province in general.

Bodega Sierra Almagrera has received this award for the creation and development in the world of wine production, resulting in the well-known varieties Caballo Español, Caballo Blanco and Sierra Almagrera, even positioning itself in the "Guía Gourmet" among the best wines of Spain, and awarded with CINVE de Oro, and Bacus de plata, the most prestigious national and international awards. And, of course, for its great international expansion.
